Twitter

Buttondown allows you to connect your Twitter account to your newsletter. This allows you to automatically share your newsletters to your Twitter profile, powered by our automations feature.

To get started, head over to the Integrations page and click on the "Connect" button next to Twitter. This will prompt you to log in to your Twitter account and authorize Buttondown to tweet on your behalf.

Once you've connected your Twitter account, you should be able to see a "Connected to Twitter" message on the Integrations page.

To share your newsletters to Twitter, you can create an automation that tweets whenever you send them. To do this, create a new Automation with the following settings:

1. A trigger of when an email is sent.
2. An action of Create a Twitter post.

You can leave the "filters" and "timing" sections blank, and you should be good to go!
